Fantastically delicious, perfect Princess coat from the late 1940s, perhaps early 50s in deep navy blue. This is and has been one of my favorite things in my shop since I got it. I've had it for a while now just keeping it to look at since it will never ever fit me.  A girl can dream though! Oh that stunning drop waist purple satin bow round the back!!!! Feels like a wool  crepe to me. Its fully lined in dark burgundy acetate or rayon.   The sleeves are full length. There are five buttons up the front.  This coat is a statement for sure, and you'll feel gorgeous in it. Label says : D.J Healy, Detroit. I have some history on this particular label. D.J Healy was a fine retailer in Detroit from the later 1800s until the 1960s. They had a few shops but the main building is considered  a historical building in Detroit. Probably a small but as its quite hourglass, it could perhaps fit a medium if you've a smaller waist.
 
Excellent, near mint, vintage condition. I did spot a few marks on the lining inside, but there is really noting worth noting to the exterior at all except perhaps the button holes could do with a minor tightening. Its just so gorgeous. You would never think this is as old as it is.
